Taking a different angle on pizza ordering.

A few years back, Pizza Hut put out an RFP for a new website. They knew they needed an update and had to do some catching up to their competitors.

When Deloitte Digital heard the news, we jumped on it. Unfortunately, we were a bit behind the ball as far as time was concerned. So, myself and about 5 other creatives locked ourselves into a conference room in the studio and started designing.

Working with our strategy and UX team, we came up with a number of flows and planned to build out a fully functioning responsive demo. We spent all of a week putting together a ridiculous number of designs to drive the conversation.

Not only was this for their web work but for an agency or record possibility. We engaged our marketing teams, copy teams, video, etc. All of which needed assets created to show possibilities.

In the end, the partner team that presented to Pizza Hut took with them a beautiful custom-designed pizza box with some leave-behinds inside. One of those included an iPad that had the demo running on it.

When all was said and done, Deloitte Digital didn’t go home with the full contract but portions of it. It was a fantastic experience, and today one of those “midnight miracles” I still remember as a designer.
